Laure Stevens-Lubin is a painter whose work explores “human-systems” and “eco-systems,” their divergences and intersections. She works mainly in oil and acrylic.
A graduate of Phillips Academy, Andover, Barnard College, and New York University's graduate writing program, with an MFA from James Madison University, she has often been Visiting Assistant Professor of Studio Art at Washington and Lee University.
Though settled in Lexington, Virginia, she has spent several years in Asia, particularly South India, and taught for a year at the Kodaikanal International School.
